ISFIN supports the Sarajevo Business Forum 2015

Now in its sixth consecutive year, the International Investment Conference - Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) will be held on May 13 - 14 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital city. SBF is an investment conference gathering key local and regional business players and connecting business projects with investors. It attracts over a thousand top business and political leaders from all over the world. In the past, attendees have included heads of state, ministers and CEOs of the most prominent international companies.  

Organized by BBI Bank and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the conference’s patron is the tripartite presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by Chairman Dr. Mladen Ivanić. SBF’s 2015 theme is "One Region, One Economy," underscoring BBI’s commitment to the development of both B&H and Southeast Europe. This year’s conference will feature panels and special presentations on continuing the IT industry’s development, establishing the region as a regional organic food production center, and positioning it as an educational hub.

One of SBF’s main goals is to showcase Southeastern Europe’s natural and human resources and help regional companies enter East and North African markets. That’s why, as noted by the British Ambassador in Sarajevo Edward Ferguson, BBI and SBF play a socially-responsible role in the development of entrepreneurship and education in the region. This year will continue a proud tradition of successful development.
