news

The evolution of Islamic finance industry is rapidly expanding throughout the world and Morocco is taking a big step to embark on a journey into the industry. In supporting the growth of the industry, it is indeed necessary to develop highly-skilled employees especially countries that are new to Islamic finance seeing that consumers in the Digital Era demands faster services. With that, increasing collaborative ventures between market players, academic institutions and technology providers are significant in developing highly-skilled employees in Islamic finance industry.

Looking at these opportunities, Amanie together with its partner, AISSE in Morocco and supported by Malaysia International Islamic Financial Centre (MIFC) will be organising another ground breaking event for Islamic finance: International Participative Finance Forum Casablanca 2015 with a theme “Unlocking New Opportunities and Value Creation in Morocco”.  In keeping with tradition, Amanie promises to bring its widely-praised approach that combines a cordial atmosphere with concise presentations from knowledgeable experts in the industry.

The two-day event will focus on potential and newly created opportunities in Morocco and neighbouring African countries which are new to Islamic Finance. In general the forum will discuss the current state, issues and challenges faced by new Islamic banks in Morocco. Other areas will be covered such as Sukuk market, Shariah perspective on Islamic Finance innovation and development, the policies and regulations of Islamic Finance in Morocco.
