Washington, D.C. – For the third consecutive year, MYUSCHAM Islamic Finance Industry Council (IFIC) is hosting the Annual Capital Market Conference themed Facilitating Responsible Finance Through Islamic Capital Market in the U.S. – Alternative Funding & Investment Avenues with tagline “Prioritizing the Next Phase.” This year, the conference will be held on November 9 and 10, 2016 at the Embassy of Malaysia in Washington, D.C.

The conference continues to collaborate leading American and Malaysian Capital Market players with the goal to expand the growth of the Islamic Capital Market in the United States, offering attendees a more extensive networking opportunity with a lineup of key speakers from all corners of the finance industry. Key speakers include Prof. Robert Eccles, Datuk Noripah Kamso, Zainal Izlan, Azhar Zabidi, Datuk Shahril Ridzuan, Scott Lieberton, Nicholas Kaiser, Datin Seri Norashikin, Alejandro Echegorri, Abdulkader Thomas, Michael McMillen, Dato' Md. Izani Ghani, Kal Elsayed, David Loundy, Michael Bennett, Mohammad Nasir, Stephen Ranzini and other key prominent speakers from the Islamic Finance industry.

Central to this year’s program will be sessions that examine wide variety of topics such as bottom up approaches to capital raising exercises through Sukuk for corporate financing and infrastructure projects, and FinTech.
