Humphrey Hart

Humphrey is an entrepreneur, and sold his most recent business in February 2019.

He enjoys every stage of business growth – from idea, to funding, to growing and (sometimes) selling the business.

He’s been working on the Value Added team at Gilligan Sheppard for the last 3 years, working on business valuations, capital raising and litigation support. He’s a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, and has a degree in Statistics with training in Data Science.

Some of the more recent things he’s worked on are:

• Helping people buy businesses. Providing an opinion on the value of the business and whether it’s a good buy, or helping with financial due diligence
• Capital raising for property developments, start-ups and established businesses. Information Memorandum preparation, investor relations and structuring advice
• Business improvement. Optimisation, loss quantification, working with big data or small data
• Business Valuations for relationship property disputes, shareholder disputes, business sales and Public Works Act claims
