What are you studying and why?
I am currently studying international trade with a specialization in Global Supply Chain Management. I chose international trade mainly because of languages and the global scope that these studies can bring to me.
What appealed to you about ISFIN?
Actually, I was first looking for a traineeship in French, but nothing attracted me. Then I decided to turn to traineeships in English to challenge myself in a foreign language, and Isfin got my attention. The aspects of the traineeship that attracted me the most were definitely the islamic finance part of the company that seemed interesting and the consultancy.
How do you think this internship will contribute to your career path?
I learned a lot with my Traineeship coordinator, mainly on how to make efficient research on the Internet, how to carry out a good market study for clients, with reliable and varied sources.
Tell us about your role at ISFIN.
At Isfin, I carry out market surveys, I take part in commercial calls with prosects to develop my commercial skills.
What team are you working with? What projects are you working on ?
I work with my traineeship coordinator and other trainees on a big project for a client. My part of the project consists of carrying out markets surveys on different countries which turns out to be very exciting, because while doing a market survey, you learn a lot about the studied country in a global way; not only the business part, but also the political environment of the country, the legal part, the technologies, ... It's very rewarding.
What makes ISFIN a unique place for an internship?
At Isfin, you feel like you travel over the world, because you have several trainees, from the four corners of the earth. Everyone brings their own cultural knowledge and values, which makes Isfin a unique place for Interns.
What are the perks or benefits from this remote internship?
The main benefit of this internship is that I can manage my time as I want. Given that I am still a student, it may be more convenient for me to deal with the internship tasks and my graduate thesis.

My name is Rizky, i am from Indonesia. I have a huge interest in the global economy and finance.
What are you studying and why?
Currently I am enrolled as a final year undergraduate student of Islamic finance. I chose this major as I have a huge interest on how the numbers and figures shape our world, especially on how Islamic perspective could contribute.
What appealed to you about ISFIN?
I was interested in ISFIN as it provides an international professional experience. Especially in these times, it is very important to look beyond the border for such opportunity.
How do you think this internship will contribute to your career path?
I believe that the experience ISFIN gave has helped me to understand more about the professional work experience and how my study in uni could be applied.
Tell us about your role at ISFIN.
For the time being I have been assigned to study about the macroeconomic landscape of a country and in more-depth on the market.
What team are you working with? What projects are you working on ?
I am in the market intelligence team. I worked on the project of APAC pitch and Belgium Export Research
What makes ISFIN a unique place for an internship?
I think what makes ISFIN unique is the interaction between the hierarchy is very different. Also the fact that I could adjust the working time with my schedule benefits me so much.
What are the perks or benefits from this remote internship?
I felt that the benefit is exposure to the cross-border and international economy and business practice.
