The Global Islamic Economy Summit - 1&2 November 2021

Welcome to the Global Islamic Economy Summit (GIES), the world’s largest and most inclusive gathering for the Islamic economy, which brings together thousands of participants from across different markets and sectors. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Summit aims to provide insights into the opportunities and challenges for the global Islamic economy as well as the latest trends, policy developments and learning experiences.

GIES 2021 aims to deliver on its theme of “Driving Transformation” by providing a platform to:

• Facilitate interaction between the different sub-sectors of the Islamic economy.

• Encourage Islamic economy businesses to leverage technology to bypass traditional barriers of entry.
