The ongoing trust of people throughout the world is earned by compliance with law, social norms, and internal corporate regulations, by respect for local culture, customs and for human rights, and by conduct based on strong ethical values.

Our Corporate Governance – ISFIN Code of Conduct is the guide for ethical conduct for the day-to-day work of each and every staff and executive at ISFIN. It has been made available to all ISFIN partner firms.

Usefulness

Our products and services should make ISFIN more useful for all our users. We have many different types of users (staff, partners, clients, sponsors), from individuals to large businesses, but one guiding principle: "Is what we are offering useful?"

Confidentiality

In the advisory sector, confidentiality is paramount. ISFIN’s "confidential information" includes financial, product, a Corporate Partner's or a client’s information. ISFIN ensures that confidential company and user material stays that way. Disclosure of sensitive information should be on a "need to know" basis and only under a non-disclosure agreement. In addition, ISFIN may require a prior security assessment of the outside party that is to receive the confidential information.

Caring for the environment, health, and safety

Deeply aware of corporate responsibility for preservation of the global environment, irreplaceable for humankind, ISFIN conducts every phase of corporate operation, use, and disposal, with consideration and care for the environment, safety, and health.

Honouring law and societal norms

As a responsible corporate citizen, ISFIN honours the law as an intrinsic prerequisite and respects the societal norms in its conduct of all corporate activities.

Corruption, extortion, and embezzlement

Corruption, extortion, and embezzlement, in any form, are strictly prohibited. ISFIN will not engage in corruption, extortion or embezzlement in any form and violations of this prohibition may result in immediate termination as an ISFIN staff member, Corporate Partner or supplier and in legal action.

Fair Business, advertising, and competition

ISFIN must uphold fair business standards in advertising, sales, and competition.

Community engagement

ISFIN engages the community to help foster social and economic development and to contribute to the sustainability of the communities in which they operate.

Excluding subversive elements

ISFIN opposes and rejects any subversive, antisocial elements and their threats to the quality of life and livelihood of citizens and to the conduct of fair and lawful corporate activities.

Respecting human rights

In all corporate activities, ISFIN respects the human rights of every person. ISFIN also respects the individuality and character of each employee, and ensures a working environment free from harassment and groundless discrimination.

Ensuring transparency

ISFIN communicates with shareholders, investors, partners, sponsors and with community and society, through active and appropriate disclosure of corporate information.

Respecting information and intellectual property

ISFIN honours the proprietary nature of intellectual assets, including business and corporate confidentiality, respecting the rights of others as well as protecting its own.

Practicing corporate ethics

ISFIN calls on all its employees to honour and embrace its corporate ethics, and seeks to ensure their responsible conduct as good corporate members, in its establishment and maintenance of corporate regulations, instruction, education and training, and inspection and auditing.

Protection of personal information

ISFIN is committed to the proper handling and use of personal information, in accordance with our basic policy.

Education and training is given to all employees – including the distribution of an information security handbook describing our rules for handling information. Education via e-learning is also provided.
